This face appeared without a plan. Painted in 2017, it came from walking the streets of Williamsburg Brooklyn— past layered walls, fading posters, and the quiet noise of the city. Moving forward, but deep in thought.
Somewhere between Bedford and nowhere in particular, the feeling settled in: being surrounded by people, art, sound, and motion — yet still completely inside your own head. Bright on the outside. Quiet on the inside.
The colors came first. Green like armor. Pink like a pulse. A soft face in a loud place — calm, aware, still open.
